Spectrum Super Star September 2016

The Duluth Civitan Club is so fortunate to have a partnership with Spectrum Autism Support Group. Through Claire Dees’ guidance, we have been able to offer our members the best kind of sweat equity that a volunteer can experience: an opportunity to interact with children, adults, their families and caregivers at events that are meaningful and provide a greater understanding of living with autism.

Although all Civitan Clubs carry the mission of serving individuals with developmental disabilities, Duluth Civitan strives to put that mission to work - to impact lives in the Gwinnett County area in a positive way. Spectrum allows us to put beautiful names and faces to the mission and has been instrumental in increasing our membership because of these experiences.

Spectrum says, “We appreciate all the many volunteer hours the Duluth Civitans put in at Spectrum events - Mom's Day out, Fishing Event, Holiday party, Golf tournament, and more!
