Spectrum Super Stars November 2020
Congratulations to Meylin Vaca and Oliver Kuehl, our Spectrum stars of the month for November!
Meylin and Oliver are Juniors at GSMST (Gwinnett School for Math, Science and Technology) and chose to do their Junior Fellowship Experience with Spectrum. They have both volunteered for this semester in our Saturday Respite Day camp program. Meylin has assisted with our Adelante Autismo program and Women on the spectrum craft social nights and will volunteer at Thanksgiving Break Camp. Oliver will be assisting with our new Pinterest page and with Thanksgiving Break camp as well.
We love working with GSMST interns! They are truly stars and we thank them for their service!

Meylin says...
I am currently interning at Spectrum, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Every time I volunteer at their Respite Camps, I come home with a new memory I will never forget. Even if I had a bad week, I can look forward to a day of adventure and leave with a smile on my face. The passion and love that all of the coordinators at Spectrum put into the lives of these kids are manifested in every aspect of the program. It has been an honor working with suchwonderful kids and co-workers.
Oliver says...
Volunteering for Spectrum was such an amazing experience and opportunity for me to give back to the community. Being able to interact with such wonderful people and helping them was such was an experience that I will never forget. I am so grateful that my first time volunteering for Spectrum has been so enjoyable and am looking forward to volunteering in the future!
Spectrum is so grateful for these volunteers for their service and support of our Spectrum Family Camp, helping make it one of the best ever!
