Give your child the opportunity to discover the exciting world of robotics through hands-on learning! Real World Robotics is a new 6-week pilot program designed for youth ages 8–15 on the autism spectrum who are curious about technology, engineering, and problem-solving. No previous robotics or coding experience is needed—just a willingness to explore, build, and have fun.

This program offers an inclusive and welcoming environment where participants will build, program, and test interactive robots while learning how robotics is used to solve real-world challenges. Using motors, sensors, gears, and Scratch-based coding, students will complete engaging projects that introduce engineering concepts in a fun, supportive, and encouraging setting.

Each week features a new robotic model and engineering challenge, giving students the opportunity to strengthen their coding, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. As they experiment, troubleshoot, and refine their creations, they'll gain confidence while seeing their ideas come to life.

Designed specifically for children with independent self-help skills, this small-group program maintains a 1:6 staff-to-participant ratio, allowing participants to work collaboratively while requiring only minimal supervision. Whether your child dreams of becoming an engineer or simply enjoys building and exploring new technology, Real World Robotics provides an engaging learning experience that inspires creativity, confidence, and lifelong curiosity.
