Spectrum Super Star May 2024

Spectrum volunteer, Paula Schirmer, is our Super Star of the Month for May. In her professional career, she is a medical interpreter and translator. Through this, she has seen firsthand how families can struggle with access to the services and resources they need because of the language barrier, which why she started volunteering for Spectrum. She recently shared this with our staff. "I want to help other families navigate the complex world of autism in their language. My autistic daughter Luisa is my inspiration."
