Spectrum Super Star December 2024

We thank our Spectrum star of the month for December, Eli Murphy, from BSA Troop 513, for choosing to help Spectrum Autism Support Group for his Eagle project. He, along with the help of his fellow scouts, built and installed a beautiful sensory garden on November 9.

Here is what Eli had to say about the experience:

“Reflecting on my time with Spectrum, I realize how much it has shaped my outlook on community and inclusivity. Being involved with Spectrum has taught me the importance of creating a welcoming environment and has also shown me the powerful effect that kindness and understanding can have on individuals. Watching participants engage and feel accepted at each event has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful to be part of such an impactful organization. Thanks to the guidance of mentors like Mrs. Dees, I feel more motivated than ever to contribute meaningfully to my community and make a lasting difference.”

We thank Eli along with his fellow scouts for making a difference and being such great inspirations to others.
