Spectrum Super Star February 2019

Spectrum Congratulates our Super Star for the month of February, Dina Thigpen!

Dina Thigpen has lived in Suwanee for almost 20 years and works with a local insurance agent as a licensed assistant. She is always looking for ways to help the special needs community. When she substituted in the local schools, she only wanted to be in special education classes where she felt more comfortable. Dina assisted with the Mr. and Ms. Special Gwinnett Pageant in 2018 with Greater Atlanta Pathways. She is part of the special needs children’s ministry team at Sugar Hill Church where SHINE respite is offered. Dina looks for every opportunity to assist the Spectrum group-be it baiting hooks and helping kids reel in fish at the Family Fishing Fun Day to serving at special events. She considers it an honor to volunteer her time with groups supporting special needs children and adults.
