Spectrum Super Star February 2023
Congratulations to our February star of the month Michelle Gunby, Spectrum’s Program and Event Manager. She is truly making a difference for Spectrum and the families that we serve!
Hi! I am the Event and Program Manager for Spectrum. I started working for Spectrum in February 2022. My role is to support the numerous programs and events hosted by Spectrum through fundraising, grant writing, communications, and anything we need to make each Spectrum activity meaningful and memorable for our autism families, including my own. I have a son on the spectrum and wanted to ensure I am not only doing all I can for him, but all of those like him. Spectrum has given me a wonderful opportunity to do this! I love all aspects of my job from being a resource for families, to making new friends, and learning along the way. Some of my favorite events include: Easter Egg Hunt in April, the Talent Show to close out our week long overnight camp, Georgia Race for Autism, and the Star Shine Gala. I truly am blessed to have a job where I can help others and know that I am making a difference everyday through Spectrum!
