We're here to support the autism community through our many programs, events and resources. Our Monthly Support Groups, Respite Programs and Family Camp are geared toward supporting the entire family, while our Summer Day Camp, Overnight Camps and Social Skills Groups provide social opportunities for individuals of all abilities on the autism spectrum. UPCOMING MEETINGS
Nov. 7, 6:30-8 pm, Support group meetings for Parents of school age and younger children (ages 22 and under). Free social skills groups for ages 5 and up and childcare those younger and breakout for Spanish speakers will be offered. Topic: "Navigating Autism as a parent: Holiday Edition" The holiday season can be a particularly challenging time for families navigating autism. Georgia Behavior Associates will be helping parents turn holiday chaos into calm with simple strategies to make the holidays enjoyable for the entire family. Join Amber Kanchwala, BCBA, to build confidence and skills to support your family's needs this season.

Nov. 14, 6:30-8 pm. Parents of adults with autism and adults with autism will meet at the Spectrum Autism Support Center, 2997 Main St., Duluth, GA 30096. Parents of adults topic: "Transitioning to adulthood, discussing job skills, employment, social skills, and independent living by Kat Pettyjohn, Supported Employment and LIFE program coordinator, an Scott Baldrich, LEAP Program coordinator, Eaton Academy.
A social support group is offered for adults who have finished high school, ages 18 and up and facilitated by All Kids First staff.
Dec. 5 will be our only meeting in December so sign up. RSVP required. Parents of all age children, children with autism, siblings, and adults with autism all welcome! (see Holiday party link above)

Please submit your story on how Spectrum Autism Support Group has made a difference in the life of you and/or your family. You have the option to upload a photo/video of yourself or your family for us to share on our website and social media or in grant writing. You can create a short video clip explaining the impact Spectrum made on your life as your submission. You can speak about how a particular Spectrum program benefited you, a connection you made through Spectrum, etc. We will choose one story to share on our social media each month, and the winner will receive a $25 gift card.
